    clemsonfor Towns that have high schools that our grade school sends children too... charge our town tuition for extra kids. That price per school year varies but on avg cost $17,000 per year per child. I don't pay it personally, but that's what the drives the town budget and tax rates.

    Towns that use our HS system pay a lot in taxes $10-12k a year just for the school taxes. It’s hard to sell your house in those areas, or you just sell for less. I think last year our school taxes were like $5,600. And we pay the lowest in the county. Nuts, huh? This year’s bill will be in any day. Can’t wait.

    I just got to the tipping point to now finally wearing glasses much of the time for distance. I hope I adjust well to progressives or bifocals since that is right around the corner. WWW could not adjust to either, still wears Rx sunglasses for distance regardless of sun or not, and always chasing down his reading glasses that seem to be somewhere else.

    I'll say this about that.....there have already been a few days that the high temps did not get out of the 50's! :jaw:

    Today was another day of highs only in the 50's! There have been 4-5 of them in the past two weeks now.
