Hard to say, mama burns probably 1 1/2-2 cords a year in her Fisher stove, cement block house and she is 92 yrs old, she also helps us burn the cull wood. We burn pallet boards, shorts, uglies...I think we have 25 55 gal drums full of that...
On a serious note, I have told her if I kill over soon, don't sell anymore, she will be good for awhile...I hope someone would come help her CSS if we still have logs around.

Git'ter done yesterday, just wasn't on the wood pile. Went to Lowe's and bought my hunny a new stove, delivery Friday, she always helps me and puts others first, she deserves it. Got home and our pastor called, said he had a deal for me, he bought an equipment trailer and tiller off Iron Planet, could I go pick it up 130 miles from here...weeellll....then he told me, if you do, you can have the tiller...Jeff and Carol's hauling service hit the road. It's less than a year old. IMG_20190828_142815805.jpg IMG_20190828_165114315.jpg

I see your 23 degrees between inside and outside temps. Are you running A/C to get that difference? I can't get that much difference with our swampy cooler when there is that much humidity. If we are under 20% humidity outsides I can get 20-25 degrees difference. It's usually pretty dry here in the Winter.

Yes sir, A/C is running nearly all the time down here in the summer. It's not normally that cool in here, usually 75-78°.

Even with tongs... straight back, bend knees, lift.

Easy to not do it that way.

Yes it is easy to forget. I think part of the reason was all the weight on one side

T.Jeff Veal You need two sets of tongs so you will remain balanced:thumbs: It really does work nice when using two of them.
