Sometimes all you can do is "look at it"

 

Good afternoon everybody. Well Chaz has been hard at work today on the wood. I know he has taken some pics so I will let him give you the low down

What's up today (bullchiting) thread.

 

My son got here Friday evening and today we hauled in most of the wood I had cut and was still in the woods. He tried splitting some white oak with a maul and the wood just laughed at him. I had to use the Speeco in vertical mode to make them manageable. This rack was empty when we started today. White oak on the left, some elm in the middle and poplar on the right. We were getting set up to do some splitting.
We got a little bit of the poplar split before we ran out of energy. That will be used for shoulder season 2021.
I am very grateful for all the help my son gave me.

 

That's great that you have your wood in one place now, ready to be split. That's a huge step forward! Now you know what you've got, and how much of it. I hope your son had a good time.

Good morning everyone! Today I need to take care of my husband, who is having eye surgery, and my grandson, who has a gap week before school starts. Thank you, yes, He touched me, got my attention on June 20, 2001. Lost my dad in a bad wreck. I had been running from GOD for a couple years, just want to live for HIM every day.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a MARVELOUS MONDAY. I'm up , for my hunny, mama and me. Bacon, egg and cheese biscuits. Guess we will play around the wood pile. Got a little hickory to sort out, smaller limbs from splitting size, then we have 2 oak trees at my sister's house we cut last November to move down to process area, get them CSS.
