    No harm, no foul.

Not good would be an understatement.

    Glad the insurance came through.

Can that be gotten on used equipment as well??

I've thought about it since reading about it, but haven't looked into it.

Finally got some decent rain Monday night, so we let the 'Bota start playing....er.... working in the fields, instead of the woodyard...got about 5 acres to do...

My hunny wanted to try it out. Her first time plowing with the harrow...

Thanks, we do tag team when we mow the elderly lady's old hay fields. She has a small JD that I drive and Miz Carol drives ours, both with 5' mowers, takes 12 hrs to get it all cut.

A little update on reclaiming the food plots...we started with this IMG_20190727_141458677_HDR.jpg our Howse brand mower is light duty, but got it done. IMG_20190727_155010979_HDR.jpg we let it dry down and then got some good rain. Our harrow is a heavy duty Frontier 6 1/2' wide. IMG_20190824_094431208.jpg Finished double cutting plot this morning. Looking better. Won't be the best for fall planting, but we will get something in the ground. IMG_20190824_094512951_HDR.jpg
My hunny hunting this same plot in Oct '16.... probably the last time we planted it. FB_IMG_1477742817512.jpg

Well, I got some work done today

Cleaned up nearly all the ash, and hitched the splitter, then decided to get some more.
    :dex:

I have found that I'm not a big fan of horizontal splitting, but I am a fan of being able to have the FEL bucket at just the right height.

I have to assume you mean the splitter.

I am in Dennis's camp when it comes to vertical vs horizontal, I may spend 2 hrs a day constantly on my feet, rest of the time it's sitting at a table.

My lower back was not appreciative of the posture, plus I had a knot "pop" and came very close to hitting me where I'd prefer to not get hit.

It'll work for now, it is what it is.

But, the tractor bucket is awesome.
