Why? Hook up with Molly and go out to my land! There is more than enough. Want to take trees down? Anything marked with a "X" on the tree goes! Go get your fill or PM me and I'll give you the directions.
I've thought about that after her saying that you wanted to give a lot away. I might take you up on that, but time will tell. Picking up a trailer would likely make hoarding easier with less travel time. Work keeps me pretty busy on the week days, and family life keeps me pretty busy on the weekends. That's why I'm thinking of buying logs. I can easily escape for an hour and bang out the work a little at a time. Most anywhere I hoard around here would be an hour round trip usually.
Well, it's there! Help yourself, just give me a heads up when your going. I have a "Eagle" circling the property for predators if you know what I mean.
If you rented a truck and/or trailer, you could leave it on the road, and I could ferry logs down with the car. Just an idea.
Molly, have you had to do any cutting at Dave's, or still just "bend, lift, and load? You must be going in further away from the future driveway by now.
Last trip, I was picking in amongst the pine rounds. Still a lot to get. Once everything right next to the drive is gone, I'll go back in a ways. Hard to tell how much there is under the brush. There's enough easy stuff for two more trips anyways.
Unless you got them already, if you know where the septic system is to go, I piled up a number of logs. Maybe 50 feet in. The area is pretty free of brush. Not too bad of a walk in/out. If some of the brush is too big or awkward to move, use that nifty electro-saw you have. It would be perfect to cut some of that brush down to moveable size.
