Hardest part is the pretrip. Just keep reading thru that every night and the rest is a breeze. A little hard at first but it will just click one day. School gives you the basics, you learn everything else on the road. If you can get your permit before school . Air brakes, general and combination. Find some one you know that drives and spend a few days “riding” with them. You’ll learn a ton. People are usually happy to teach what they know if asked. Good luck and God bless!

Wood always heats you twice, unless you rehandle like I do then it’s four or five times!

Glad nobody was hurt and he gets a new shed. With it that close to the power lines, I would have called the electric company. They have taken down a few for me at no cost.

Initially, they told him it was his responsibility........... funny thing is that after it fell, not only did it flatten the back of the shed, but also ripped out his tri-plex and phone line off the side of the house. He called them and they came up and hooked everything back up including his phone line.................no charge.

Had my 1st Physical Therapy session this morning. Back hurt a good bit after the session, but feels real good now. About ready to do evening exercises. I hope the back comes around so I can run the saw at gtg. I guess I will see come Oct. walt 's gtg. Would love nothing more than to make a reasonable showing against you younger bucks.
Made a pot of Chili. If I can say, pretty darn good. I couldn't recreate it because I dump, pour and taste when I cook.

I hope you get some rain CBVT. I’m hoping I’m done with all my large fires for this year. We got lucky with some rain and I burned them all. Now hopefully we can have small, hot fires we can sit closer too as things cool down. Next 3-4 months are BEST time of the year coming up.
