Kentucky Coffee Tree?

    So part of the fun this summer was a large tree fell on our house. I believe its a kentucky coffee tree by the bark, leaves and the little pods.

    My understanding is it takes several years to season. I know it all depends on conditions. Just trying to get idea.
    Also how it burns.

    I have a guesstimate of 2 cords or so.

    looks like it but no idea on the seasoning time until I looked it up Firewood BTU & Drying Chart

    That’s what it looks like to me. I have a handful of them on my property. Kind of a rare tree around here. I’ve not had the opportunity to process any so I’m no help on seasoning time.

    This used to be our state tree. Tulip poplar took its place in the 90s I believe. Considered to be very rare.
