Haha, got a good chuckle out of that one. It sure is nice to have the splits at a non stooping level when stacking.
Tried again this afternoon. Didn’t get too far before the thunder and lightening stated moving in. Dog says let’s go home old man.
A man his truck, firewood and his dog... looks like a great day. Or a top 20 country song! Wood always heats you twice, unless you rehandle like I do then it’s four or five times!
Haa, I’m beat up enough I try to handle it as little as possible. Just waiting for cooler temps so I can handle more of it less...... I think? Yeah, new dog. He hasn’t figured out why all this is necessary yet. It’ll be interesting to see what he thinks of a wood stove.
If it takes your dog more than about 5 seconds to figure out the stove & what it's for you didn't get the smart one of the litter. Nice looking set up there jo191145 ! You could add a hay elevator to make the splits "self loading".
Gotta get me one of those! Or is it all operator skill? Just add a woman, then you loose it all! (although my experience has been just the opposite. Life is far, far better after adding the woman!) First really cold day and he'll have it all figured out!
