Our two "kids" did really well on our road trip this summer. Here they are getting ready for bedtime.

There is always something interesting to see while waiting in line for a ferry.

Not too far this time. South central Pa. Little town right off the turnpike called Fort Littleton. Burnt Cabins Grist Mill. The owner runs the grist mill in the fall and makes and sells buckwheat, light buckwheat and corn flour. We got to tour the mill. It was a great place to see. The wheels and gears and shafts, belts and elevators were amazing. Even more amazing they can still operate it!

Yes, apparently un-dock tails are long and are like rope on the rat terriers. It is illegal in BC now to dock tails and ears.

    Great pic Loon
Who's the one sitting on the quad?

I am presuming that Murphy is the one looking like he should be sitting up there.

I don't have as much back history as other members, but I do presume Murphy is your avatar pic.

Thanks Chaz and that's Emma in the avatar and her taking her brothers seat years ago.:salute: Murphy was only here a couple years as he had very bad health problems and we had to put Emma down a few months back with cancer.

Murphy was a hoot but Crazy.:hair: :D Emma was just a loving house pet for sure.

that looks really cool. I was thinking it should be painted white but the black tires would absorb the sun and make it warmer in the winter time.

Final details being worked out for rehoming Peaches Poodle. WWW made the phone call this time, he's more onboard with rehoming now than he was in July , though the training I did actually worked, she needs more, that we/I cannot offer. Sweet dog has a larger than life personality, hanging out here in a slow home is not enough for her but the adoptor can give her what she needs. I am looking forward to giving my larger than life kiddo undivided attention again.

Not an easy choice but the best interests of the dog and family are what's important.

These pictures are priceless. Did you know you can have them put on canvas? I have done that a few times and love the results. Sam's Club does a fantastic job and for a very low cost. They often have sales that are half off. Having the pictures on the wall where I can see them opens a warm spot in my heart and mind. I find myself touching the pictures as I pass by them. Thank you so much for sharing and also for have started this thread
