Almost couldn't wake the computer up this morning so I could get on the FHC site… :hair: … can't have that and it's becoming a reg thing. I'm thinking about a trip to see the Geek boys at Bez Buy. That's prolly a good thing… I'm feeling it from too much bending and lifting over the weekend… :headbang: Didn't take any pics cause I was hoping it didn't happen… ;)

Swamped all weekend. Still didn't get to split any wood yet. :( No. Wait. upload_2014-5-19_6-29-48.jpeg There, that is better.

Worked overtime on both my days off. Should have turned it down but it really helps. But I did manage to get a few things done. Got the flat tire fixed on the Bobcat, borrowed my brothers tiller and tilled the garden for my wife and then she got the whole garden planted. (Are those rear tine Honda tillers ever nice.) And I cut all the grass at the house. That was all I had time for. Wife had family over for a birthday party for four of them on Saturday. Four of her family have a birthday in May, so she had them all together. Good food, good people, good time.

Good morning. A cool 50 degrees and looks like NO rain today.
I gotta' couple irons in the fire, but nothing too important.
All me favorite fishing spots are mucked up from all the rain, still too soft to cut the 2, "twenty foot stumps" I have targeted for the woodshed.
I've bought an old beater R.V. I'm trying to get ready for the weekend, I get to work Sat and Sun. but will set up Kamp Kozy for the good wife and daughters.
Hoping this finds you good people well. Peace.

I take it that the weather was great out your way today. We are also getting some very nice weather to get out in the garden. Of course tomorrow will be even better weather when I have to go to work.

Got all of the small raised planters repaired and full of dirt, one of the large (for us) sections of the garden turned, two of the compost bins capped, most of the dirt moved from the area that is losing sunlight, and now we are awaiting delivery of aged poop. The boss put in onions, the second planting of lettuce, and peas today. Going to have the load of poop dumped on the large section of the vegetable garden, then the digging fun begins.

Oh before I forget it the boss made three different muffins for the quilters to have for snack while riding in the bus during their Mystery Shop Hop. I got a few and she did really well on her rhubarb sour cream coffee cake muffins. Shortly the freezer will be loaded with rhubarb and I suspect that any extra will find its way to quilt club meetings (this is what happens to extra garden produce as well).

I'm ready to retire. Only 25 years to go...give or take. Hit the big "33" tomorrow.

Oh to be that age again - or maybe not. I am closer to retirement than 25 years and I am looking forward to it.

You youngsters wouldn’t know what to do if you were retired like a certain critter who shall remain nameless.

First you need several hobbies and to not mind doing nothing at all if the mood just strikes.

You need to be able to stand no set schedules and be willing to take afternoon naps after tanking up on things that perhaps you shouldn't have consumed such as that chocolate cream pie after the sausage platter and porter.

These and more abilities are only attained by age. Patience grasshopper, patience.

Ya know I tried that once and it required work, much better shoveling my own poop than someone else's.
