Better than a pair of gators i guess...and you toad them to stay out of the pool too! I dont recognize you without your hat on!
No, I'm not. Some neighbors are opening up the country store in Deepstep again. They want to put pine boards on the interior walls. He is going to use some of the logs for that. Most of the wood I need is PT.
You are an internet guru....but the store that will be opened is across the street...you almost had it...like the insurance commercial...lol
We finally made it to the wood pile this morning. Worked about 3 hours, got the shed refill done. Got everything cleaned up and ready to move splitter to next shed. Had 6 nice rounds and 2 small ones left. Good start on the next one. Heat wave is still going on. Glad when we finished that shed...
We're jumping back up to the mid 80's on Monday. We need some rain, we were in Potsdam NY and some mulch caught on fire from someone flicking their cigarette on them at a hotel on market street but the fire dept made quick work of it.
I would love some mid 80's...lol... it's getting dry again down here. We got 1.3" on 8/3, can't tell it now, only a few .01-.03 lately. Had several pop up thunderstorms, just not over our place.
Got a bit more done yesterday and today... Got the splitter set up on the next shed, one of the first I had built. Added the 2x6 supports on each end, the 2x4's needed help. Got the back board moved over, and we SS the 8 rounds left over from previous shed. Sorted out the last load of wood from the Hancock county clean up job. These are the 6' logs. Got them staged on the cutting sled. This morning, we bucked those logs and got a few rounds SS. The friend with the mill came about 11:30 to pick up the pine trees we gave him. Got them dragged out, limbed, bucked and loaded. Made several nice 16' logs. Then I went , back to work tonight...
We made it up to the wood pile late yesterday. Got lights and fans set up, a few rounds SS, started a light rain around 9:45PM, so we quit, started coming down good about 10:30. Woke up this morning to 2.6" overnight. Maybe we can get the rest of the rounds processed tonight. Had a box show up on the steps Friday...had something pretty and red inside. Got it mounted on a board and set up last night. Now got to practice on a few older chains...
More than the HF ones, way less than a square grinder...lol... cheapest price I found it for was $280. When it came it, my hunny said Merry Christmas, shucks, our anniversary is in September....seems to be a great unit.
