I try not to mess around. Would have been sooner but gad to go get fuel. Standing dead hickory this time I think. Thick heavy bark what was left of it.

Worked outside today as much as I could. The grass and ground are still soaked. I gave up mowing half way through but I had to get something done.

Got the truck unloaded, visited with some family and ran the planet jr. through the garden to cut any weed sprouts. Going to try to plant the rest of it tomorrow.

Got a touch of frost last night but the garden appears unphased. My back is jacked up so I'm going to have to take it a little easier this week....which is very hard for me to do without getting antsy.

Replaced all my rose bushes that died last year today. Also got the grass cut, weed eating done and found time to sit in the sun and get my first sunburn of the year. Great day!

Very beautiful we have a couple rose bushes but one is dying for some reason. The others are doing great!

I was set up at a show today selling some woodworking and forged items. I've been up since 5:00am and still have a truck to unload. The weather was fantastic and we met a lot of nice people and other vendors. One in particular a young man who is learning blacksmithing in his backyard, and was wise beyond his years. We had a great conversation and his mind was like a sponge.

I hear you on that one. I'm starting down that road, from being on my feet on concrete like I do.
