    DIY'ers are industrious. When I was a kid, guitar pics were hard to come by in my small town. I guess it beat nothing but if I had nothing, I would try to find the stiffest part and cut a bleach bottle piece into a pick. Kinda flimsy, lol. I think that's when I learned fingerstyle, lol.
