What's up guys, joined due to the persistent Eric VW lol. I bought my new to me chainsaw from another member up here and love it! Been using it to cut small trees down around my property line that have been encroaching on me since living in my house 9 years

Got me a nice pile for a huge bonfire...sorry fellas, I don't burn wood for heat lol.

Very new to the world of chainsaws and cutting trees down, but loving it so far[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Welcome mechdesigner87 to the site. As long as you like working with chainsaws and cutting wood you have found the right place. I am not sure if you get points added or subtracted by admitting knowing Eric VW  :rofl: :rofl:

We won’t hold it against him that he don’t heat with wood, but he can light a bonfire or fire pit with the best of us. :salute:
Glad to work with this fella and the rest of our engineering team which happens to include MarkG and another new FHC member Scottish 80 :salute:

Welcome to the club mechdesigner87 and Scottish 80 . Great group of folks on here willing to share advice and humor. Looks like you're fitting right in, got equipment and pictures. I think you will enjoy it here. Do you have chainsaw chaps? That would be a great investment. I finally got some in June, makes cutting in brush easier, especially in shorts...plus leg protection...
We stopped by and visited your lovely town on the way to Michigan this year. Nice place.

$16 I believe I have for it at local saw place.

There are a few stations that sell e-free, this was just convenient since I was already there buying sharpener and oil

Used the 2 in 1 sharpener last night for the first time and was amazed at how dummy proof it was even for a noob like me. Put some nice edges on that chain
