Hey guys I hope everyone is doing good. I was wondering what is a good price for a insulated chimney liner installation. Complete job of taking out the old clay flue it’s a 6 inch liner

Hmm...that's hard to say...prices could vary wildly based on what I've heard about in the past...

I can't provide much help either but I paid around $700 for my SS Pre-Insulated 25FT liner and a 13x13 deluxe flip top kit, hope that helps a little.

    $700 is a good price,
I've seen them for $945, that's a pre-Insulated liner already with insulation or,
$500 for The liner plus $270 for the insulation.
You can Rent the Tile Breakers and break out the tiles yourself if you wish. - $160

I had almost $1000 in having mine lined with SS pipe, vermiculite insulation, 2 snouts, C/O, cap and setting up my stove and connecting. took them about 3-4 hours.
    there was no clay liner.

I'm like Tim, there was no clay liner.
I paid $1200 for a complete 8" x 30' SS liner tee kit with upgraded cap, installed myself. I found out later that the two ply liner I paid extra for was not worth the extra money, not even as good as a single ply...but it is still working ok. If you want to upgrade, buy HD, not 2 ply!
The second chimney I lined I used a SS 6" pre-insulated 6" x 20' insert kit, it was $400 on sale...I like this one alot.
