What a day! Glad we're home safe and sound, doc was awesome as always and nice lunch with my father and his wife, bummer we had engine trouble. Engine trouble is not new but I thought it was remedied, obviously not. Had to reprime 3 times and also discovered when trying to leave down there where it was near 100* to drive home we had lost air conditioning along the way down . HOT drive home and some mild heat exhaustion, but we made it home, barely!! Dogged out twice more, poor WWW on the side of the road repriming it, made it to within a couple miles of the house, tried to die again but did not, instead, something computerized or whatever took over but we made it home at 25 mph the rest of the way HOME! HOME, this heat sink house I complain about in the winter but stays cool in the summer WWW just went out to double check if he missed a light on the dash or if the digital odometer messages said anything new. Darn thing turned over and ran great. Dropping it at the shop tomorrow, get A/C repaired and have them scope it. There's one little area by the radiator where an AC line is vulnerable and can get hit by a rock like twice before over the years. Hopefully that's all it is again this time, less $$ than other AC repairs.
I say this all the time. My wife does too. We have no idea how people who work on stuff can afford to fix it. Or maybe that's why you see people with nicer stuff or house than you but all these small things are broken on it. Also I guess is why some people think it's cheaper or better to stay in a new car and car payment than own an older vehicle??
Also how I have what I do. If I couldn't fix stuff I wouldn't have half the stuff I do or be able to have all the things cause I couldn't afford to pay people to fix it Everytime it needed maintenance or something was wrong with it.
Presidents choice!! I haven't seen that since I was a kid and we bought generic stuff at Harris Teeter!
They keep maxing mine out up in the air and have me running at like 7.5 mph up hill in the very end trying to max you out. I got the t shirt this year for some fitness level. We get them for the Fire department every year. I hit some threshold for blood oxygen max. It's basically how effecient you body uses oxygen. Its the level they deem great for fitness and who ever hits it gets a shirt. Sad thing is that I am 10-15 years older than a lot of those guys and I am in better shape than they are!!??
Where I work nothing would get done for all the fuss people make over the reviews, the prep, the writing your own write-up, the meetings and the review. And I am caught back up. Spent a long weekend at the farm. Only internet is bad cell signal when the wind blows just the right direction, it seems .
Happy Hump Day Hawdahs ....and trivia night here at the local brew pub- Harry Potter category tonight-
