That looks like QE2 and ST. Johns. I've missed sailing into ST Johns coming across the Atlantic because the port was closed due to rough weather.
wow, weather must have been real bad. She's the second (third??) Queen Elizabeth, looks pretty good for a newer cruise ship. For how expensive they are, a lot of them just look like big shiny glass boxes. QE2 is now a floating hotel in dubai I read. The ocean liners of yore, those were some handsome ships.
You must have been sleeping pretty sound when I snuck into DexterDay 's bed in the cabin at Dennis and Judy's GTG!!
Now she's a nice looking ship. I heard she can't come to town because her draft is too deep, but (slightly) deeper ships come in. I'd love to see her in person, she did stop into our west coast the other day
Beech. Two, five face cord dump trailer loads. Three kids, their Dad and two hours later. Now added to the shoulder season Pine and some Ash. We are getting there.
Caught a woodchuck. It's been eating my new clover patch. Good thing is it was a female. Bad part is I had problems getting the trap open so went to a neighbor. I hate this that I am getting weaker. But, he said the steel gets stronger so maybe I'm okay.
Dennis is apparently made of steel too. One tough ombré. Maybe a little WD-40 or liquid wrench on both?
Not sure how much rain fell but we had a downpour here. Still raining but lightly now. WE need the rain but not the hard rain.
Gearing up for a long day in the truck tomorrow, 5+ hours driving a few hundred miles. Going to a doctors appt then lunch with my father Then home sweet home.
