The question isn’t what is it. The question is what should it be?

    Table base.
    Done.
    Easier said, of course.
But I do like brenndatomu ’s idea... except for the weight issue, which wouldn’t be a concern if you stood the tree upside down and lit it like a floor lamp, but then even more of a weight issue.
Can’t wait to see what you come up with jo191145.

No votes for ceiling fan? Balancing would take awhile I imagine LOL

First idea was to use it upside down to hold a glass table top. Glass smaller than the root ball. Hold the big screen tv. Need to build a base of sorts.
The chandelier idea has merit. I have a spot above the pool table I’ve never made a fixture for yet. Hmnn.

I thought of that too. What would the boon/crocket score be.

I do have a small whitetail mount that’s of no particular significance. Could lop the horns off that and shove the head underneath. Be a hell of a mount on the fireplace.

I think it’s an oak. On the tip of one of those roots you can see some medullary rays. Oak is the only tree I know that has those in any significant abundance.

Voting Octopus with savage on this one. With a remote control paintball gun planted just underneath the digestive gland.
Pretty sure it would be a one of a kind
