With the two new stove control panels complete and fully operational I finally got all the notes and data together and in a complete package for the Whitfield Prodigy 2
(Will work on the Waterford Erin and should work fine with any basic small stove as well)

The complete package is already stuck for the large Whitfield stove...That system should be fine for any of the NON SELF START Advantage series stoves (Advantage 1 through 3)

    Here are the details..

    Schematic
    Spec sheet

The design keeps all the factory over temp safeties and adds a couple electronic safties.

If the moderators wish to stick this post others may find it a useful alternative to either excessively expensive or non existent factory replacements.

Ha Ha, David, you already know the answer to that. lots of conversation go on now that don't participate in. With age has come difficulty hearing, and lapses or delays in memory recall. That doesn't hold well unless you are in a group of similar aged people.

Not me, not even thinking about it. I'm watching Skeeter stewing about vortexes...

I've got 2 tons of MWP being delivered in Sept. and I've been buying 10 bags or so of Platinum's every now and then to give me a head start.

It's supposed to hit 100 degrees here this weekend. I'm more concerned about the AC and the beer fridge running cold!

Looks like last weekend was a great time to add the 6k BTU window AC to supplement the 10k BTU portable AC that is in my living room. All rooms are 73-75* :dennis:. I used to have to shut the bathroom and bedroom doors and just let them heat up to keep the other 3 rooms cool. The 6k AC is blowing cold air from the office into the bathroom

8K (ooooooold unit) in window downstairs of a cape and another 8k (another ooooooooold unit) just went into bedroom window. The bedroom one will come back out on Monday when this breaks for open windows at night. Living Room has ceiling fan that helps too. So far so good.
