Nope, actually made by Deere. Always have been, even when they were carrying the Scotts/Sabre name.

That was a cool read. Most kids these days are so caught up in tv and electronics, this was a such a nice story to hear about his love of tractors. Kudos to mom and dad.

Thanks Oslo, his Great Grandpa was a farmer and showed him some old tractor pictures when he was about 2. He has been obsessed ever since. Great Grandpa passed away about a year ago but I don't think my son will ever forget him or his stories. He always called him "old Grandpa" and even yesterday when he got his signs his first comment was "Old Grandpa would have liked these!" I hope he never outgrows his love for tractors and figuring out how things work.

After reading this thread and your response to my post it makes me wonder what path he will take in life and if tractors will still be in it. I really hope so! He seems to have a great family and support system at home.

I think that tractors will always be a love of his. My Husband and I really encourage it. I can't wait to see where he goes in his life but would love to keep him young and carefree forever :)

I order from amazon a couple times every month. The ones with free shipping over $35 are sold by Amazon. They rest are by vendors. I have prime membership so I try to get those first.(2 day shipping free). The free shipping lays for the prime!

here's something you might get a kick out of.

my boss's daughters both work in our company (obviously) when we had snow ron would drive down from his house a couple miles away with his John Deer tractor with the snowblade mounted and push the parking lot. he would shuttle his girls down in the cab when he came, always love asking his girls about the ride in "the big green limousine"

i'll dig around and see if I have any pics of him with the tractor, he mows with it (gang mower) he has a 22 acre yard, ive done it for him while he was laid up in the past, nice tractor he has xm radio in the dang thing

hey! if you ever get a chance to visit the outer banks in NC on the way in there is a produce place that has a crapload of old tractors sitting out on display , must be like 30 or more of them, also the "gravedigger" monster truck's shop is on the same road , they have an open shop you can stop in and visit them. well worth a small delay to stretch your legs and Dennis Anderson is a super nice guy website http://www.gravedigger.com/
