Bought a '68 440 block off a friend of mine. I have the block and a set of Dodge dog dishes, so now I'm obligated to find another car. Just finished changing the oil in the Kia. Every other oil change I drain the catch can hooked into the PCV system. I've kept what I drain out and put it in this bottle to give an idea of how much junk has been kept from going down the intake. The is how much it's caught since I had it on the car at 8k miles, just turned 35k.
Getting packed for vacation. I went to the TSA site to review the regulations and found an extensive list. At least someone in the GVT has a little sense of humor. You older members probably remember the Magic 8 Ball. They are not allowed as carry on. Here is what the site said: Magic 8 Ball For Carry-on bags: We asked the Magic 8 Ball and it told us…Outlook not so good! For Checked bags: We asked the Magic 8 Ball and it told us…It is certain! No Yes Just found it funny.
One of my older sisters I haven't seen for a while. Finally came up recently for a visit. The reason we've been out of touch is she's trying to adopt her granddaughter, age 5, who is autistic.. Sister is very careful where she takes her because of her disability and her Comfort levels in public places. Turns out she loves my house, particularly stripping down in running through the fields. And then getting a tick check in a bubble bath.. Well this is going to take a few hours extra each day.. but if you can't love a little kid .. you need your head examined anyway.. My sister is more concerned about her some of her behaviors that I am. Of course being five she likes to run and have people chase her.. well if you're 50 the five-year-old can kind of outpace you.. most of the edges of my field a couple hundred yards away are covered in Blackberry brambles they make a perfect fence.. It's a really safe spot for a child to come spend their energy and be a kid .. safely I think I need a
Canadian border VT I see you are starting to catch on to the idea that 'youth is wasted on the young'
How long do you find that it takes before its effective? I gave it fifteen minutes out by the hot tub last weekend and gave up
I stopped at a car show in town with my daughter earlier today. She thought it sounded like fun. Halfway through, she was done, and I needed to carry her.....hurt my back. I'm partially crippled now. Yay
WWW picked up one of those kits too, $30. I wish I could say if they worked but the sqeeters are just so thick here there is no way to tell if it did anything. Canadian border VT , can't say I would not have done the same at her age and that beautiful country you live in Crazy busy couple days, I got home from the carnival (we do her Bday party too) and collapsed in my chair, phew! Kiddo is finally tall enough to ride some bigger rides
Trying it now... Have enough Soo pain fades.. Can always sleep on couch if bedroom is too many stairs away.
It was an indoor house project day today. A lot of progress was made and the stumbling blocks are done. Old hackery has been repaired. Having the right materials and tools on hand makes things easier. Nothing is square or level in this old place, but I can work with it. The room I am working in has a back wall 8 degrees out of square. When it is done, it will be clean and tight, and the 8 degrees will become part of the character of the room. I'll be getting to the flooring and finish trim carpentry by next weekend. Maybe some splitting and cleaning up the last of the hemlock branches tomorrow. I had the game cam out on the side yard last night. 1 cat around 9 pm. A handful of raccoons around 3:00 am and a coyote at 3:30 am.
We had a great boat day today. We'll be on the lake tomorrow again too. We might bring the pups tomorrow.
Yes. That's the one I got. My dad always said they were well built, and work well. They are made in Wisconsin too. I didn't hear much good about the Morton water softeners. They apparently have expensive parts that seem to fail prematurely.
It draws them to the unit, so don't put the unit right by your patio. You can't put them too far away though. When you use them as they are supposed to be used, they work well.
