Our 19lb flabby tabby, beyond spoiled rotten, bundle of joy, "Taters". My GF rescued him and his brother in Fall 2008 as month old kittens.
Typical time whenever Maple goes outside! Added to the forbidden words like "squirrel, rabbit, bird"....... there is also FROG!
Love that clip. She looks good there. You sure did good by her when you put the pond in. Is that a radio collar on her? I noticed DaveGunter has them on all his dogs. I looked into them. They don't come cheap. I normally don't allow Molly out of my sight. we have a lot of woods around here, but she isn't allowed to go into them unless escorted by a person. she knows that and so far has been very good about her boundaries.
Mine are GPS from Garmin, definitely not cheap, but very good quality and very durable. You hear stories of lost dogs all the time, if one of my dogs was lost I'd pay just about anything to get them back.
I'm having trouble with Peaches. I have not had success training her the way I did all our other dogs, so I hired a professional trainer to come here to teach us how to train her correctly. They could not meet for a month (brings us to today), and her behavior has become progressively worse over these last 4 weeks to the point she is now getting aggressive with sweet easy going Blondie. What changed in the last month? = I've been knocking myself sideways to Sunday getting kiddo to sports lessons in town and leaving the house for a few hours several days a week (all 3 dogs home alone together). The trainer was not optimistic, and strongly urged me to contact Peaches breeder to let her know then hopefully not do that combination of breeding again that produced these tendencies.
Plus a hundred outside tonight and minus holy crap inside with the AC running. The Booms needed his winter coat on.
We have the heat and the humidity here for the weekend. Not good for us old goats to be outside. Our pets are all inside. Molly goes out only to do her chores and then wants back in. Lucky for me as someone has to go out with her or she won't go if she thinks my son's dog is out there. (he plays too rough for her).
Each of the 3 cats has its own preferred temperature range. All pictures taken within 4 minutes of each other Spot likes to be hot. She is in the bathroom garden window which is in full sun, with a heavy bath towel as a "curtain" to keep the heat out of the room. It must be over 90* in there. Rainey is a middle-of-the-road kitty. She is in the warmest bedroom, but the AC gets in there so it is 76* in there (by thermometer) Rita likes to be cool when she is in the house and is currently on the corner of the desk - right in the stream of cold air from the window AC. although the room is at about 74* - that spot is colder, probably around 70-72*
