    That’s a steal and a half.
If it doesn’t want to run from lack of gas the first place I’d look is the metal bent gas line sweep that feeds the carb. Yours is a different model so maybe it’s different but on mine storing dry or even shutting off the gas is a no no. That little sweep will corrode up inside within a few days until gas can’t get through.

That's a great price. Mine arrived yesterday in very good shape, outside display unit. Minor rust. Maybe today I'll get to run it. Lots of rounds laying around here.

I need a hitch for the tractor but the dealer is closed for the weekend. I can hook it to the truck for now.

I used the splitter today for about 10 minutes on very branchy hemlock. It went through no problem. This stuff was stringy. It would have taken well over an hour to do what I did in 10 minutes. I'll have more time tomorrow.

I filled the rest of the rack up. I'd like the log catcher and maybe a trailer hitch for the tractor as it is a bit heavy and awkward. When I find my milk crate, I'll try vertical.

First splits from the new splitter. These were from rounds in my "unsplittables" pile... that is, those rounds that I couldn't get the maul through. New splitter makes quick work of them.

Splitter works good. Checked carefully the hydraulic hose connections for leaks, and everything seemed to be sealed up well. There's a couple small spots of rust on from being stored outdoors at the Lowe's, but nothing serious. I also noticed that the label sticker is peeling off... not an issued for me in terms of function!

Lookin forward to more increased productivity, maybe even tonight after work! :axe::stacker::woodsign:

It is about 15 years old to be exact. I keep it inside my work shop. It's actually my shell sorting seat when I reload, but it's dual purpose! If you look close on the top pic the over spray of oil when sizing my cases.

A heard a few places had them for under $300. 75% off. Not near me or I would have bought another. I sold my old splitter(25 ton MTD with a 17 second cycle time) for $750 so it effectively bring my cost down to $650 out the door.

Edit: looking back, it was in this post where I saw them for under $300.
