Restoration of an old skate rink

its almost bare....gonna miss this place, been my home for close to 10 years now.

 

cant believe the amount of garbage....dang near filled the dumpster.......another not so surprising thing.....managed to find literally hundreds of parts that i knew i had but couldnt find or had forgotten altogether.

 

Legit garbage, like dirty shop towels and drink cups and pizza boxes or just like used parts or stuff you don't think you need anymore?

 

Why, need something?

 

empty boxes on shelves, broken or used parts on shelves.....old advertising banners, books, flyers, old and outdated catalogs....that kind of stuff.

 

monday should be interesting! I dont think i have time to get all this sorted and back on shelves. this is just the 2 biggest piles....there are several other smaller piles as well.

 

I had to search out this thread. I do not know this member personally but I knew where this building was. I drove past it today and it was a big pile of still smoldering ashes. He has not been on the site since last year by what I see.

Got a little more info. Called someone I know down in the area. I guess it burnt down last year but they are cleaning it up so must have been burning some of the rubble. Not sure of anymore details.

 

Wow... after all of the work he's done on the building... what a shame...

That is horrid. I pray he is ok after being burned out. I do wish he had let us know. Don't know how we would have helped, but we have been able to help some others.

 

Nate has his new shop up and running from what I've gathered.
