I wish I’d have taken a closer look at them first because they are designed for 2x2s not 2x4s! But I’m sure I would have got em anyway at that price. From the moment I laid eyes on them I was thinking, “ those would make a couple of cute little wood sheds” 7C987036-1193-43AF-B977-CBC5DD579D98.jpeg 7A69464F-E912-4BCC-BAFB-D7569B96C00F.jpeg 2 weeks ago I finally got around to getting one put together. Turned out about how I figured it would. Didn’t seem very sturdy. The white slays on the sides are from an old privacy fence I scrounged at the dump. That helped stiffen it up a bit. It must be stouter than I thought because the next week we had a good storm and the wind turned it about a quarter turn. Placed plastic pallets on the ground to stack on and split up about a dozen wet elm rounds. That should hold it in place till I can finish filling it. Bought a couple sheets of 7/16 Osb for the roof & got some free steel roofing to finish it. I’ve got some elm lined up to gather that’s gonna need probably 3 years to dry, so that is what I’ll fill em with

Nice looking shed and repurpose Sandhillbilly . I wouldve grabbed em for $3 myself. Amazing what gets thrown away that can be repurposed. I scrounged a bunch of old 2x6 deck boards last week. I guess wood is not the only thing im good at scrounging! LOL!!!
Keep us updated on your progress.

"Space age plastic".... for a few bucks worth a shot. So weird they would call out 2x2"

The sheets of OSB will stiffen it up even more.

Yep, good deal there Sandhillbilly

If it were me, I’d go with purlins instead of a solid OSB roof deck... but I would use the OSB as collar ties to give those 2 x 2 rafters some extra strength. Just my 2¢... :salute:

Finally got the final touches on it today and also got it filled with the wood from my “ they couldn’t burn it” thread. Holds pretty much exactly 1chord. The $3bracket kit was the cheap part. Still got more $$$ wrapped up in it than I thought I would. I have one more to build but have to do some rearranging first.
