    Last of this round of cutting came off the hill this afternoon.
    Figure 4-5 cord in this bunch.
    Ahead of schedule as I didn’t really see it happening until this fall.

    Thats a nice haul you accomplished and its all in your yard instead of the bush! What kind of wood is it? I thought maybe some spruce but its hard to see since most of the bark is off. Do you have a splitter or will you be rocking all that by hand?

    Mostly Alder with some Fir and Maple in the mix. All splits easy with the splitter, but in no hurry to get to it.

    Doesn't the alder need splitting right away or it will rot? It is nice wood when it dries out.
