31 for my low, most neighborhood roofs plenty frosty.

Surprising that we would get so low here in the swamps while some west of I-95 stayed above freezing.
    About 5 colder than expected.
    Repeat performance tonight maybe

Skeet, Is that thing aspirated/power vented? I seem to think the fan was an option on a VP2. And it looks like you have a wireless and a wire both.
I feel that radiation shield will read high in sunshine, (if no fan).
The great and mighty Davis Instruments might disagree. Not sure. (Then why sell the fan option guys?)

P.S. That new tipping bucket rain gauge looks great.

The fan is an option.seems quite accurate compared to 3 other temp sensors I have on the property .......I'll shoot the radiation shield with a non contact thermo next time the suns out.
The wire you see goes to my anemometer, its at 32 feet and I didn't want to have to change the battery in it,so I hard wired it......other than that its wireless and I transmitt to 2 separate consoles

Great setup. Wind up at 10m and everything.
With the bucket on top, I think the temp would be reasonable close; but I don't know.
Trying to post a graph from a paper published by Davis indicating error in non-aspirated temp sensors....

ETA: I don't know how to attach the whole PDF paper. Not sure it would fit in.
