When Woodwidow and myself first married 47 years ago, we lived and worked in the community of Holberg, BC. The arrow points to a building that is a good restaurant. It also points to that same spot where our house trailer sat that same 47 years ago .
IBIS.jpg The view from the restaurant window.

Woodwidow and myself. Very seldom get Woodwidow in these pictures. My daughter took this one.

This would have been the view from our living room window 47 years ago.

It's great that you were able to refresh old memories. Looks like you had a beautiful day too.

Very nice, when I go back to NY to visit we drive by the trash incinerator that is the on the spot where my Dad grew up. It is located on the beach at Coney Island

In the last picture, across the shore and down the inlet you can see some poles sticking up from the water. That was where they unloaded the logs from the logging trucks into the water. campinspecter worked at that site for the first little while we lived there. I will have to dig into the archives and see if I can find a picture from that time period.

Allan, my son was in BC twice for a couple weeks at a time and did some work for a pulp mill out there. I do not remember where it was but am wondering if it might have been there?

On second thought, I don't think so as your pictures are still on the island.

It is kind of dark but here is a picture of our first home sitting where the restaurant/pub is now.
