11-year-old Girl Scout died after tree fell on her in ‘freak accident’ at Camp Koch The county where our tree farm is, suffrered a tragedy from all the gound saturation. Girl scout at a camp died when a large tree came down at a scout camp. Some adults were injured but will be okay. I know the sheriff there, and he is upset, as are all the folks who came to help. Such tragic memories for the other girls there. My heart aches for all of it.
With all the rock oaks dyin around here.....im surprised something like this dont happen closer to home. Man...this is such a tragedy.... Seems like these kinda things were hardly ever heard of years ago.
Both are terrible events. We have a tree on our road that leans on (I believe) a power line, and it's been that way for years. Wierds me out whenever I travel under it's path
Yeah i saw a smaller tree across a line for a few years. They finally came and cut it. Bugged me each time i saw it.
