Whole cable, and a starter solenoid. Both were melted. Declined starter replacement after recommendations.

That's what they make those clamp-on "temporary" battery terminal ends for...just cut the melted part of the cable off and clamp the new end on...all better, right?! ;) :picard:

    JK...I HATE those things!!! :hair:

This one came in for an oil leak. Sump gasket to be exact.

Customer unloads it cuz I was busy. I go out to tag it and park it and find this. Yep.....5 day old package of luchmeat rotting and stinking on the foot platform.

Bunch of years ago one of helpers was complaining how bad is pickup smelled- and was blaming it on the deer he hit. Fast forward about 6 months and he is selling truck-cleaning it out finds a plastic container under seat with multiple fuzzy colors inside other than that not identifiable material contained there in- and ya that was his stink problem . That truck was so bad I would not let it in the shop

One year while crewing for RAAM I rented a van in San Francisco. Drove down to Oceanside then on to the race route and ended in Atlantic City (yes, stayed at the Trump Plaza). Then drove it back to San Francisco. Cleaning it up before turning it in, we found lots of stuff under the seats and it was not from us. No doubt it had been there for a long, long time and looked like it. Yuck!

One of my co-workers just bought a 96" Lazer Z. He mows 22 acres, all his own yard. $42K mower isn't making him a dime. :loco:

He must make a lot more than me. If I dropped $40K+ on a mower it better have have a bagger attachment to collect the $ bills it discharges.

Heh. He’s probably money ahead in the long run but you could buy a 72” Machine and pay a kid to run it all season long for that!

Putting the cost of that mower into perspective, the first house I bought just before my wife and I got married 57 years ago cost $6,000. So the mower cost 7 times what my first house cost. :bug: :bug: :bug:
