B993019D-678C-4126-A0A4-42081F787ADA.jpeg Once in a while I’ll come across a snake skin, lots of times a mouse nest or rabbit borrow. Today I found this sticking straight up at the bottom of a 10 cord pile.
I’m sure it’s an Ermine tail. I Found a road kill earlier this year and tossed it in the wood line about 200 feet from the pile. Wondering if this is from that and what brought it into the pile.

No clue since I don't know what an Ermine is? Little weird though.

We have boring wood piles (so far). An occasional snake skin or a small stash of sunflower seed shells. More fireflies than usual this year, or I'm just more aware of them, but they seem to be everywhere this year. No light shows yet.

I'd bet you very well might have some in your area.

Funny enough, I had one of those just above this tail.
