    Gravely is the same as Ariens. I like the 24 ton because it has horizontal crankshaft.

    IMG_4290.png I got the 27 ton Ariens splitter in 2013 and am real happy with it. They have since changed the beam design slightly, but the Subaru engine is reliable and (relatively) quiet. Made in USA.

    So true you can buy 2 more engines if you need to for less than the 400 for the Honda
