Man I love seafood. No place around here that has good choice of seafood. Have some for me.

 

Morning opps afternoon all. Rained all morning but looked like it was going to clear up but now not so much. Mid 60s today and yesterday we hit a very muggy 82. Did run the ac in the evening and when I went to bed ran the ac in there.
Today had to run into town to see the doc. Monday discovered I had gotten bit by a bug. Was just a hard bump. Tuesday was more of a tiny boil so I popped it as it was starting to get sore. Wednesday am got up and lower left side of my neck going across my shoulder was all swollen and inflamed and tender. Have a soft tissue infection so on antibiotics for 10 days.

 

Wow that was some bug! Are the deerflies out? Hope it improves fast.

 

I haven't seen any. No clue what or when. It will be okay. The doc and nurses all agreed with me that it was weird. Dang pouring.out.

Good morning everyone! Had a great time yesterday evening at SIL's birthday dinner, with three of her brothers attending. Got to hear a great tale from one, about his tree-planting job near St. Helen's on the day it erupted! They had to drive down a steep logging road with two people spotting on both sides, telling the driver how far the edge of the road was. The ash coming down was like being in a blizzard. And the lobster bisque was excellent.
The rain is supposed to shut off sometime this morning. I'd like to work on wood for awhile today, have to get those rounds in the driveway moving along.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a SUPER SATURDAY. Chance of thunderboomers today, guess I may cut a bit of wood this morning, still have sheds to fill, we are going to our church this afternoon, our missions team fixes plates every quarter and delivers to the elderly and shut-ins in the community. I think my hunny said we had about 55 to deliver, plus the workers that help. We are serving ham, mashed potatoes, squash casserole, rolls and peach cobbler. It sure feels good to visit and see their smiles. Live by the GOLDEN RULE. Be the hands and feet of JESUS...

 

Good morning everyone! The weather has changed back to dry and sunny. I'm driving to Saugerties, NY today to visit an uncle and his wife, staying overnight and returning tomorrow. On my way out, I'm stopping to pick up some more rubber roofing, buy some kielbasa in Chicopee, and wherever else looks interesting. Should be a fun trip.

It will be good. Thankfully there are plenty of Dodge dealers around.

 

Well, i've been up since 3 AM, and its only 4:15 am right now. So, its still dark on the ''left coast''. The kids are leaving for yellowstone today, around 5:30 am so thought i'd head over and tell them to be careful. Then, i'll come home, wait till about 10 am before go back and start sawing, and eventually splitting, that big oak that's in their back yard. We might get some rain here by the middle of the week, hope so, every thing is starting to look pretty dry around here. Doubt a couple of day's of light rain, if we get it will change much. I noticed yesterday the ground is already starting to crack out back its so dry. Everyone have a good day, and a safe one!!
