I accidentally put one of my blades on upside down last week. Big tip off that something wasnt right was that it wouldn't spin.

That is so when you need to jump to the other side of a log to finish the cut, the cut marks match up. Probably could have sold the new owner another chain when they thought they screwed it up on their first cut. I just bought an echo that in the box the chain was on backwards. Had it all fueled up, tightened the chain and something just didn't look right as I was getting ready to start it up for the first time.

Had a customer come in today for a new chain. Instead I installed his correctly and asked him if he still wanted to spend $30 on a chain he didn't need. He looked at it, runs his finger on the cutter edge, and says...what do I owe you for labor. I laughed and said not a cent. He was a little embarrassed. But ended up laughing before he left.

Got my first look at exmark's prototype no flat tires. We've been told to give these to a customer and get feedback compared to the other options currently on the market. 20190618_072835.jpg

Polaris has been using them for a while, I see no issues using them. The only thing could be of mud bogging, that they could make it easier to get stuck.

Hustler offers those as a factory option now...we looked at those on the unit we just ordered at work...decided it wasn't worth the money, to us anyways...

Kinda like the John Deere Tweel. Ive heard good and bad about those, main good fact is they don't lose air.

Tweel is made by Michelin....not jd. That may or may not be the competition. :) They make a good product.

The Polaris flex tires are/were military grade tires (or a less expensive version of them) and rather pricy.
There's quite a few manufacturers coming out with flex tires at different price points for various uses. High speed versions might be interesting.

How do those wheels absorb bumps? Zero turns are already bumpy enough with regular tires, hopefully these have some give to them.

For the tweel fronts for an Exmark lazer you are looking around $475 for a pair including the needed stainless steel spacer kit.
