Couldn’t resist a quick ride over cut some small rounds to size ,threw them in van and now to get some splitting done .

Thanks her indoors got me the saw for my birthday and splitter for Xmas the other year . After splitting by hand and a piece of axe shot straight through a vein

 

Wise woman. How does your splitter do with gnarly bits?

 

Some go with a almighty bang , others it won’t split so they just go in a pile for later . Because there was so much wood iv cut out all the uglys and taken the nice stuff

Cheers be nice if they were even cut straight and the same diameter .
But who really cares just means I have to sit in the garden longer splitting it

Hard work no matter the size of the fire. If it was easy everybody would do it.

 

Where most cut rounds into four I’d have to go eight and mine are 12 inch long max . Still Ida only been watching crap on tv .
