Not in this particular location. I use the .22 for woodchuck control, it isn't safe to use in this case.

    Same here on ALL counts.

Until there is more food in the woods, the feeder comes in at night for the bear issue.

Get some pepper use liberally. Helps keep animals away but doesn't bother the birds, should work on bears unless they are really hungry. I started testing it out last eveninbg, so far so good. My problem has been masked bandits.

Hey Larry how's those wee ones doing? Have you got their feeders up yet. We must have about two dozen dive bombing us when we sit on the deck.

We have squirrel issues as well.

We use a live trap and then take them a few miles out into the boonies and relocate them.

Little buggers were eating all the barn cat food and the cat was tired of dining on squirrel every day I guess.

Weather has moderated a lot... much cooler during the day, but not cool enough at night for a spot fire in the morning.

About 67 F in here now.... not going to heat the place up so I can pay to cool it off in a few hours... noooooooooooooooooooooooo

    Bear.

We have a big Tuxedo Cat that handles the Bandits.
I have watched him tear up a couple over that past year.

Never would have bet on O'l Boots to be able to rip up a coon, but he will gitterdone quite handily.

I don't have an aggressive Tom cat and I try to leave most crittors alive and free. Woodies bother the bosses veggies, I get to do what she won't, she'll complain, groan, and moan about the woodies. I slow them down and shoot them she gets to dispose of them on the recycle pile.

I want to share a situation I ran into last nigh, hopefully this doesn't affect anyone on here. I had Time Warner for my internet provider until they were bought out by Spectrum. Since that merger, all correspondence, bills, etc. have said Spectrum. Last night I logged into the Spectrum website to pay my bill. While there, I noticed an ad for high speed internet for $44.99 for new customers. It was 100 mbps download and 10 mbps speeds. There was also a speed test to check your own computer. I tested mine and got 24 down and 2 up. There was a chat function and I started a chat to find out why. The lasy told me I still had a TWC account and never migrated to Spectrum, I would get the high speeds and save $15.00/mo. She gave me a number to call which I did today. My bill will now be the $15.00 cheaper. My speeds were 74 down and 11 up, but my ethernet cable is plugged into a wi-fi router. The lady had me plug it directly into the internet modem and my speeds were 124 down and 12 up. The speed test site is speedtest.net. The Spectrum phone number if anyone needs it is 833-780-1880. I wonder how much money Spectrum is sucking out of former TWC customers who don't know anything about migrating their accounts?

Squirrel issue does not bother me...
But may have to invest in a really good skunk/possum trap.
Wouldn't mind if they got scared on someone else's property...
Just seems like the hot nights, when you want the windows opened,
they spray.....Sitting on my porch watching the tube at night,
the driveway looks like a superhighway for these guys.
