Very cool!! I spent about 200 miles with my wife. New lids are the bees knees! Quietest helmet I've ever owned.
It was over 2. She will comfortably run 40. Down a 30% grade with Hurricane Katrina behind you she will hit 50. Her tongue is hangin’ out at that point.
HOG chapter Fallen Members Ride to the Cathedral of the Pines today. Our Director read a wonderful poem as tribute to our fallen members. Beautiful setting and they do a bike blessing once a year.
Fired up my Yz250f the other weekend and messed around in the yard. Will be hitting the trails soon. I put on a little over 100 miles Saturday on the FZ09, it was such a treat to let her breath a little. Hit the rev limiter in second gear once on accident. Ha
Would somebody please turn off the faucet It is the latest I've ever been getting the bikes out. Getting restless. Grrrrrr.
Put a few more (s)miles on with my daughter. Spent several hours (between storms) detailing yesterday.
Put a new tire on sons bike Sunday today was my turn. The CTX1300 gets two new Bridgestones, 4 quarts of fresh Amsoil and we are ready. Leaving soon on a little bike trip to Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana. Should be around 5000 miles before we get home,, We ride so much we do our own tire work. I got 5 irons. More money for fuel!
Sounds great, I used to take a long road trip every year, usually camping, meeting my brother, we'd usually hit a NASCAR race or two. Is your son traveling with you?...two up trip?
We go on a big trip every year. He rides a Honda VTX1800. His tank is smaller than mine so I carry an extra one gal of gas for when he runs out which is often. The year we went to Alaska he ran out of gas 3 times.
My wife and I took a week off work and had a nice ride. We left on Monday and headed through horse county then hit the super slab to make time. We stayed in Newport Tenn and the next morning we headed to Asheville and jumped on the Blue Ridge Parkway and headed north. We got off the BRP in Virginia and headed to West Virginia and visited with some family then headed to Eastern Ohio and worked our way to Southern Ohio. We only got rained on two times and it was pretty mild. We were prepared for it so it wasn’t a big deal. We racked up a total of 1321 miles
It is the end of Bike Week here. My HOG chapter was asked to provide voluteers to man the National HOG pin stop. I took on yesterday afternoon. Beautiful ride up to NHMS, where the pin stop was at.
