    I once found a living burl. Big, bigger than a wheelbarrow big. I mused cutting it down and tossing it into a pond to alleviate checking LOL
    What method would you suggest for such a large chunk of wood?

    Hmmmmm thats a tough one. I say throw a coat of latex paint on it:smoke:
