That kindling cracker which is well made too and durable. It doesn’t dissappoint. It is not the cheapest, but a lifetime tool. The story with the carpenters hatchet is that I am still unpacking from our move and haven't located my mallet for the kindling cracker. That hatchet is very hefty and worked great. The hatchet head is from Midwinter from a year or so ago. I just made a new handle for it.
Hey guys we all know that there was an issue at my house Saturday. Of course our refrigerator died. we are having 40 people here next Saturdays.. All fixed.. Wife bought a new one.. Hey she got what she wanted so life's good!!
Sure can..... Starting in the front, left to right we have savemoney (Larry) and his wife Cindy, and their black lab Molly. I'm next to Cindy with Maple. In the back left to right we have fishingpol (Jon), Canadian border VT (Lyle), NH mountain man (John), Chrissy (Weldrdave's wife, & WeldrDave (Dave), Midwinter (Molly) between them in blue, my lady Dawn, Barb (nhmountain's wife), bogieb , MikeInMa (Mike), JCMC (Jack) and his wife Kim.
A few more pics from the event. Dawn wearing her gift chicken socks today, don't worry I'll get mine on too later. Another great shot with old glory in front of fireworks! Mike taking charge of keeping us warm, even when we were 20 feet away. Dawn taking a random picture of me, lol
fishingpol, the mountain you have pictured its seen fully heading 93N in a couple spots. It looks like Maple, so Dawn and I call it Mt. Maple! Boy, I skipped lunch since I was full from breakfast, wishing there was some pizza and lobstah rolls leftover!
looks like a great time , shooting , fireworks ,bonfire ,the wonders of nh ,you are in a beautiful spot ,and enjoy the freedom unlike us to your south in hell
It was great to see everyone at the GTG Kim and I had a wonderful time. Am looking forward to the next one! The Food and Fire where great, The fireworks and the Camaraderie where exceptional! This is what makes FHC a Family. Thank you Brian and Dawn.
You better get your azzes up here! My son made me aware today that we had a rogue mortar shoot up over the chicken coop. This explains the higher than average egg supply this morning.
I grew up in Revere and skeedaddled 25 years ago-not looking back. One of my brother just moved to Kingston NH 2 years ago as well-after 55 years in MA
This looked like a great time-good people, good food, relaxing conversations and no work!! Maybe next year. Last week I was hit hard by a cold from hel l. Other than a minor annoying stuff for a day or two once in a while, I generally dont get sick but this knocked me on my azz
