What I've gotten myself into......

This big white pine came down in a storm a few weeks ago at a neighboors right by the house. $500 to make it disappear. I accepted. Been limbing it for the last 2 days at a leisurely pace. I have an unbelievable amount of this stuff already c/s/s. I may just sell this all as campfire wood to the tourists.

 

$500 to make it go away.






Now that's a good deal.

 

Nobody paid me to do that at my house.
I got a LOT of firewood from that tree, but the limbs...............
Nice that you can do it at your own pace.

 

Yep, that's a lot of limbing for sure. Lotsa tourist wood there.

 

A tree like that has a lot of limbs and branches that require more work as you know.

If you can haul and dispose of the limbs in the woods close by, that would save a lot of work, as you know already.

I just helped a neighbor by hauling a whole huge pine tree off her land into my woods using my tractor. No cutting needed. Saved a bunch of work....

 

Multi-trunk pine in need of being de-limbed. There's a Steven King Nightmare in there somewhere.

 

Might be chipper rental time, sell the pine mulch off too.

 

Good deal. Nice to make a little $$$ on side jobs sometimes.
