Kerry Farwood and I made these for a birthday present for Kerry’s coworker.

They look great. They are made out of birch? We don't get birch here.

    Good question.
Not sure I should show these to my wife or I'll have another project.

White birch and we did nothing to seal it. We used battery candles, I think a real flame may be a problem

Hmm, flame + wood = FIYAH.
    Or so I've heard.

Wife has already seen these, and no mention of wanting some.
If I handed her the tools, (aside from a CS) she'd make it herself.

Oh yeah, I remember now. Thanks for the reminder. :handshake:
I might even have time this year to get it all tuned up for some cuts. :dex::picard:

Jon, you'll be happy to know I got new tires for the saw and posted a quick update today in the bandsaw thread.
Now, another year or so, and I'll be cuttin' wood with it. :hair::picard:

You have a lot on your plate Jon, with the recent move.......don't kill yourself.
No plan to get that in-depth unless needed. Mine needed new tires, and the cool blocks.
However, my resawing plans have been adjusted. I was going to use some rough Pine and Spruce to cover the upper 1/2 of the shop walls after resawing, but for now, I'm going with good old OSB.
The price has dropped back almost to where it was when I used it on the "studio" (for the wife) side of the building.
