This spring has been pretty dreary. Today was the first nice weekend day in some time so I ran the Hounds up a small local mountain to start getting them in shape for some bigger hikes. This was the first pack hike up a substantial mtn since Jackson's knee surgeries in Feb of '18, it was good to have them all together and healthy. Some giant eratics 360 from the summit
I was thinking the same thing. All those pictures are so panoramic. I still have no idea how he trained all 5 dogs to be so obidient.
That's great to hear! Maple's xray did show inflammation on April 1st, still limped, but is almost 100% Glad you were able to get out. I was at my dad's today in the catskills, he's 2000', it was snowing! Uggg
DaveGunter Making hounds sit like that for photos is no insignificant accomplishment. IMHO, Hounds aren't dogs, they are hounds. Not saying that in a bad way, they just are.
I couldn't even train my kids to sit still that long for a photo. As always DaveGunter you have some fantastic pic and really remarkable hounds. Thanks for sharing once again!
Great pics Dave! His dogs are so well behaved.. 1 found a rabbit at Well Seasoned GTG. He called it back Even though you can read the dog's mind, please. Dad come on.. Please please please
Black Mtn today, just about got carried off by the bugs, very little wind, still a nice hike. Ready for a nap on the way home.
It's very comfy back there, I climbed in with the Hounds once and had my wife drive around just so I would know what it's like.
