I enjoy reading the wood tales of some on here still but I have been done for awhile now. Too many other things to do this time of year....so much rain the grass needs mowed every 3 to 4 days, mulching is started and the pool is now open and cleaned up. I don't like cutting in the heat either but I do enjoy a nice fire with the wife and dog.
Don't drink a drop of the stuff, but I did have my coffee fix not long before that and the wife usually has the fixin's for smores
GF made a pitcher of ice coffee and coffee ice cubes last weekend for me. I enjoyed one tonight. Dont drink either Locust Post. Thought about making a fire in the pit but a bit muggy and skeeters are abundant now.
Hum... Pool now open and nice fire in the back yard. Sounds like a perfect set-up for my wife and I to pay a visit!

No cow chips have been harmed in the making of this post. We have not had cows in the pasture directly behind us in a few years now. I miss that.
Does the farmer still have cows? With milk prices in the crapper for years on end now many have sold off the cows and/or farm...
It was owned by an elderly lady that rented the pasture out to a local farmer that usually grazed the dry hieffers in there. Last time there was cows in there another beef farmer has Herferd in there. She passed away and the guy that bought it passed away suddenly as well. His son is living in the house and they just make hay off the pasture.
