    X3 on the beech. Already cut and uniform lengths, halves fairly easy with a maul. Looks like decent wood as well.

    My wife was looking at the screen as I brought this up and I immediately told her I'd get that beech quickly if I could then go for the oak. Then I see most thought the same thing. Great minds run together.

    Managed to get some of the oak. Plenty more to get. Maybe tomorrow if it’s there. I need to run up North to Costco to buy stuff I don’t need so could hit the oak one more time while I’m up there. I could manage to come back with a pack of steaks, a new end table, some underwear, flowers for the wife, and some oak. Whooooooood!
