No way to have a mid sized saw with you just in case that happens? Even in the cab? Ive had scores where i wished the saw was with me. The last year it is in back at least 75% of the time, even when im not "wood hunting". If i happen upon a score by accident, which happens. I know space is somewhat limited with the Raptor.
Hoard on my friend, hoard on!

The lady didn’t want any cutting on property so I had to improvise. If that didn’t work, I was gonna pull behind with a rope until I was down the street...then pull out the saw :)

Let it hang off the back a bit. I have hauled 16' moulding like that before though.

Ok, last load of the weekend. I’m exhausted. Arms throbbing from splitting giant rounds of ash onsite. Left with one truck empty. Just couldn’t do anymore. Time for some rest. I’m taking at least a week off to heal up.

Make sure you drink plenty of H2O. Get dehydrated before you know it...

Whoooooooooood! Wood run Friday night after some serious work at the Bank with spreadsheets all day, lol.

Here is my score, some kind of oak, I think white. And there’s 4 loads left! The Raptor
    Bottomed out, not good.

    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

So much wood, so little time! Whooooooooooood!

25 mile ride, some giant pieces, some noodling to do tomorrow. Man was the Raptor creaking and crawling. Almost time for a new one.

I’m so glad this forum exists, my wife is not as impressed, lol. I’m like honey....this was my Planet Fitness workout for free.

    Whooooooooood!

Great score! Looks like white oak to me. I am also impressed with you loading some big pieces. Oak is heavy
