That is neat! Doing that sort of job certainly could be interesting. Maybe a bit nervous around those adults though for sure. Glad you got it done.

Rain finally got here but hopefully it won't be much. Most of it went south. But this is really getting critical for the farmers. I just heard this morning that one big farmer not far from us lost all of his sugar beets and he usually grows a couple hundred acres of them. Also lost a couple fields of corn. Most don't even have the corn planted because it is just too wet. In addition, with all the rain and cool weather the ground temperature is not up much which will slow the growth. I thank God I'm not farming this year!

Students' last day is June 27, teachers' last day is June 28 and my last day is July 5 (office staff). Report cards go out on July 5. I return to work (don't want to think of it) two weeks before Labour Day and the students and teachers are back right after Labour Day. I get six weeks holiday - Yeah!

I wouldn't be very helpful to anyone if something bad happen. I went to the Dr today and got something for the infection and something for help with sleep. Im glad I went and now I got to see about getting it pulled. My health stuff is very small compared to many here and people I no. Thanks for the info on getting some Ammoxicillin. It would be nice to have some on hand for sure.

Good on you going in for that tooth problem. Human life expectancy has improved dramatically since modern dentistry, and improved care of tooth infections and infectious gum disease.

Ya know how I know the tooth brush was invented in Kentucky? Had it been invented anywhere else it would be called the teeth brush.

An elderly couple walk into a fast food restaurant. They order one hamburger, one order of fries and one drink.

The old man unwraps the plain hamburger and carefully cuts it in half. He places one half in front of his wife. He then carefully counts out the fries, dividing them into two piles and neatly placing one pile in front of his wife. He takes a sip of the drink, his wife takes a sip and then sets the cup down between them. As he begins to eat his few bites of hamburger, the people around them keep looking over and whispering "That poor old couple - all they can afford is one meal for the two of them."

As the man begins to eat his fries a young man comes to the table. He politely offers to buy another meal for the old couple. The old man replies that they''re just fine - they''re just used to sharing everything.

The surrounding people noticed the little old lady hadn't eaten a bite. She sits there watching her husband eat and occasionally taking turns sipping the drink.

Again the young man comes over and begs them to let him buy another meal for them.

This time the old woman says "No, thank you, we are used to sharing everything."

As the old man finishes and was wipes his face neatly with the napkin, the young man again comes over to the little old lady who had yet to eat a single bite of food and asks "May I ask what is it you are waiting for?"

The old woman answers... "THE TEETH.

I am stripping it to paint. I pulled all the trim and not going to put it back on. I'm regasketing the doors. Putting all new window rubber in. Tired of the windows rattling. Putting a coverlay on the dash. Which is a thin plastic cover that covers the cracks and makes it look back like factory new. I'm redoing the door panels. Repainting them where the old paint has been peeking for over a decade (ever since I got it). I am pulling the vent windows to regasket them as well to make a cleaner paint job. Also painting them where the outside is rusty. I guess it was galvanized look originally? I'm painting it gloss black to look good with new rubber and shiny paint. The hinge part was really rusty on them as well so it got hit with several coats of black as well as clear. The trim around the actual glass is getting painted the same since its paint had long ago peeled and rusted the frame. I'm gonna put a spray on liner it from one of those two part urethane spray in kits into it.

The paint will be Chevy dark green which was a factory color on the 62-72 series trucks . This is the color. I am not painting roof or but person white though. Screenshot_20190328-092202.png
