Currently 58 and sunny.. High tomorrow is 52.. North wind its almost chilly... In short, no chance of heat stroke
Boy you sure got that right! My weather station has been reading 80+% so long I thought it was broke. This stuff just sucks the life outta me. I see now why wood rots so fast in the PNW. Rain predicted for the next 8 days too.
The trough in the jetstream out west gotta go ! I dont remember the last time that it was basically flat from west to east...... Rainin some now....chance of some severe storms today n tomorrow. Last year is was wet, damp n chilly.....this year...outbreaks of storms that havent been prevalent like this in good while....
Only in the 50's tomorrow, and rainy It was on the news here, "super storm" over NY and PA. Let us know what happens.
Gonna be a cool and damp one today. No sun either. Methinks most of us are tired of this weather. For sure the farmers are.
Cooler for sure today. Looks like we won't make it to 60. A little mist in the air but not enough to stop anyone from working outdoors.
When I woke up this morning, sun was up, 34°F. It was probably colder before the sun came up, but no sign of freeze or frost. Raining hard all day today. Just lit the pellet stove for a minute.
We are at a sunny 67f now in Mpls suburbs after persistent rains all spring, thankfully nothing severe up north of Iowa here. I really feel bad for the farmers right now. I heard only 19% of corn and beans are planted here in the midwest. Up north this past weekend we had morning and evening poplar fires in the wood stove, and it we had a Lake Superior impacted climate due to east winds off the lake which kept us in the 40s on Sunday, but thankfully it was dry for my garden and yard work. The snow was all gone and the large lakes are all ice free. It was too wet in the woods for any serious cutting, but I did some work on cutting and stacking fire pit wood adjacent to the cabin that was in various stages of dead and dying...mostly poplar, alder and balsam.
