During one of my recent trips exploring in the back “yard” I discovered an old bench rotting into the ground, I figured it was something that needed rescued. So in anticipation of all of the rain and thunderstorms the weatherman was calling for over the holiday weekend, I figured it would be a great way to kill a couple of hours.

After a little welding, spray painting and ripping down some new wood. I think in came out all right for a guy who is not a master of any of the above mentioned tasks. Good enough to give me a place to sit while the grill is going.

Looks nice! Are you at least a grill master?

Dang, that came out very nice.
Oh, I hope you waited for the paint to dry.:picard:

And, a couple end tables for your favorite beverage would go with that nicely.

    That looks great!

    We have one of those.
Sat in the back yard for years and years, unattended.

When we moved back to the house, we actually
had a place to put it...and use it....so...
    Rebuilt w/redwood w/Thompsons sealer.
I left the weathering on the metal as it was....the patina....if you will.....
We sit on it and have coffee on Sunday mornings in the summer.
    Actually very comfortable bench.
