Made a deal with a buddy of mine and traded my old wood hauler for this guy here. He bought this for the plow that was on it and planned on scraping the truck.

    Front caliper piston is stuck
Probably why the clutch slips so much:D

New break lines and hose to the rear are done and bled.
    New shoes too.
Front caliper is freed up but won’t return

Wanted to get a load of wood with it today but I thought being able to stop might be kind of important.

That'll work for a wood hauler, well, once you get the brakes sorted. Is it perhaps time fur a rebuilt caliper?

How does that 4.3 run, does it use oil? IME those 4.3's will run a long time/ miles as long as they burn a little oil. I know of far too many that didn't make it to 100k, that didn't use any oil. The ones that did burn a little oil lasted a long time, one 400k before the body rotted away. I'm guessing it does burn a little a it probably wouldn't be running now after 20 or so years.

I’m sure it burns some but havnt ran it enough to know yet. Otherwise she runs great. Lil loud though, the driver side flange is gone off the Y pipe.
If I weren’t so darn crafty this thing would cost a buttload of cash to get going. :makeitrain"

Haul a few loads with it when you get it running, that way you'll at least get something out of it. ;)

Is the rubber brake line bad? That will make them not return sometimes...got one that needs replaced right now myself.
