I did some cutting today cut for 15 minutes in locusts of this size with no problems.

Did you quit or did the saw quit after 15?

 

I quit to go mushroom hunting battery was not fully charged and still had one bar left. I have been cutting all kinds of stuff last few days.

 

That's pretty good.

That's good thing about lithium batteries....they run pretty much full power until they quit. You get every last drop of power out of them.

 

I have an 18 volt Ryobi chainsaw. Tried it with the old nicad battery when I got it & was disappointed with the performance. It turned too slow & just couldn't cut the mustard. I might have to dig it out & try it with the large lithium battery. Wonder if a 40 volt battery will fit?
